From Stan the Sausage Dog to Summer Fun: An Exciting Update from Your Favourite Dog Walkers

Hello again!

We have some exciting updates to share with you from our recent adventures. Grab a cup of coffee (or a treat for your pup) and enjoy these tales from our trails!

Stan the Sausage Dog’s Live-In Success

In our last blog, we mentioned a unique live-in arrangement with Stan the Sausage Dog, who isn't always the friendliest towards other dogs and people. Well, what a turnaround! Jodi and Stan became best buddies during their time together. Jodi took Stan on some pack walks, which did wonders for his social skills and relationships outside of his owners. A big round of applause for Stan's progress and Jodi's fantastic work!

Emma’s Exciting Qualification

As some of you may know, Emma, one of our wonderful walkers, has been diligently working on her Canine Behaviour Training. We are thrilled to announce that Emma has qualified as a Behaviour Practitioner! She recently teamed up with Jodi to run our Socialising Classes, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Emma introduced some fun new training games that kept both dogs and owners fully engaged. Emma’s journey doesn’t stop here—she’s continuing her training over the next year to gain full Canine Behaviourist status. Go Emma!

Weekend Walks: Unexpected Adventures

Gemma and Jodi had quite the eventful weekend, helping out Rupert the Frenchie, Leon, and Louis. Rupert, who we hadn’t seen in a while, joined us for some much-missed fun. Leon and Louis's owners had a bit of a scare with a broken-down car in London, but no worries—they joined our walk and had a blast until their owners returned. It’s always an adventure with our furry friends! Sunday Strolls and Silly Moments

Sunday’s walk was full of fun and giggles. Gemma and her team met Rebekah and her pups, Pepper and Holly, for a morning stroll. The highlight was bumping into Cooper and his owner. Cooper was feeling cheeky and preferred hanging out with his pup pals over listening to his dad. We all enjoyed a lovely break from the rain together.

Tell Us About Your Dog’s Diet!

This week, we want to hear from you about what foods you feed your dog. Is it dry kibble, all-natural raw, or the latest in pet food innovation with freeze-dried options? Share your preferences and any tips you have for keeping your pup happy and healthy.

Summer Tips: Crowds and Kids

With summer holidays fast approaching, it’s a great time to share tips for managing your dog in crowds and around children. Whether it's navigating busy parks or bustling beaches, we’d love to hear how you keep your dog calm and happy.

Gemma’s Exciting News

Did you read our last blog about the Best Business Women Awards? We’re thrilled to announce that Gemma has been named a finalist! We’re eagerly anticipating the event in October and can't wait to meet some incredible businesswomen. We’ll keep you updated and share all the exciting moments with you!

Looking Ahead: Live-In Care for 2025

Mark your calendars! On September 1st, we’ll be opening our books for live-in care for 2025. Stay tuned for more details in next week’s blog. We’re excited to plan another year of fantastic care for your furry friends.

Thank you, as always, for your incredible support. We love being a part of your and your dogs’ lives. Until next time, happy walking!

Warm woofs and wagging tails,

Gemma and The Team at Gemma's Pet Services
