Ever Tried to Find the Perfect Dog Walker in Warwickshire?

Only to discover your dog has more opinions than you thought possible? At GJPS, we’re proud to be an award-winning dog walking and pet care service in Warwickshire, trusted by local dog owners for our personal touch and legendary walks.
Dogs are as unique as their humans—some want to sniff every blade of grass, others want to swim in every puddle, and a few (looking at you, Bonnie & George) have a nose for mischief. That’s why, as a leading provider of dog walking in Warwickshire, we’re obsessed with feedback. Not just the “you’re amazing!” kind (though we love those), but the honest stuff that helps us get the fit just right.

Walks, Wags, and a Little Bit of Chaos

Jodi: Rocket Reunions & Training Wins
“One of my favourite moments? Reuniting with Nelson after five months. He heard my voice, then came zooming from the other end of the house like a furry missile—straight in for a cuddle. He’s grown up a bit, but still brings the cheeky energy that keeps me on my toes!”
Jodi’s Top Training Tip: Short, fun training sessions are the secret sauce. If things get tricky, take a breather. Always end on a high—confidence is built one treat at a time! Training is like your favourite sitcom—quick, fun, and always ending on a high note. Frustration can undo progress, so if things get tricky, take a breather and come back to it later.
Jodi’s Favourite Local Walks:
Ilmington Way: Wide paths, stunning views, and plenty of space for zoomies.
Shipston to Todenham: Farm fields, river paddles, and the occasional mud bath (for the dogs, mostly).
Enrichment Tip: Canine enrichment isn’t just for high-energy pups. Mental stimulation—snuffle mats, scatter feeding, or just letting dogs sniff on walks—can turn even the cheekiest dog into a happy, tired companion.
Adam: River Antics & Cooling Off
“On a hot day, Walton Ford is the place to be. Watching Angus lose his marbles in the river while Timber just flops down for a spa moment—it’s chaos and chill, all at once. There’s nothing like a splashy play session to cool everyone off (handlers included).”
Adam’s Hidden Wisdom:Sometimes, the best training is letting dogs be dogs—giving them space to explore, play, and just enjoy being themselves. A happy, relaxed dog is always going to be easier to train (and more fun to walk!).
Alex: The Great Deer Carcass Caper & Command Consistency

“Bonnie & George once found a massive deer carcass in the river. It took all my patience (and a LOT of treats) to get them away from their ‘treasure’. Never a dull moment with those two!”
Alex’s Training Tip: Consistency is your secret weapon. Make sure everyone in the family uses the same words and commands for each behaviour. If you say “down” and someone else says “off,” your dog will be as confused as you are when you can’t find your keys. Dogs thrive on clear, simple cues—especially when there’s a sausage involved.
Alex’s Shady Summer Walk: The Mound in Kineton—natural woodland cover, a river for paddling, and plenty of cool spots for a summer stroll.
Gemma: Behind the Scenes & Organised Chaos
You might not see me out on the walks as much, but trust me, I’m there in spirit—and on the spreadsheet! After a couple of whirlwind months, we’re finally getting back to normal. With summer holidays on the horizon, the organisation behind the scenes is next-level. Imagine juggling requests for July and August, planning our social media, and trying to keep everything on track before Tilly (our daughter and unofficial social media manager) decides it’s time for the next TikTok dance sensation.
It’s a bit like herding cats—if the cats were dogs, and the dogs were all trying to eat my lunch. But that’s what makes GJPS special: we thrive on the chaos, the laughter, and the little wins that come from working as a team (both two-legged and four-legged).
